That is worth stating plainly rather than leaving you to assume otherwise. This document was prepared by the person who operates the site, not by a solicitor, and nobody with legal qualifications has checked it. It is published for information only and does not constitute legal advice.

The factual parts are not hedged, and they are the parts you can check. What this site stores, what it sends, and what changes when advertising is switched on are all described exactly as they are — and you can confirm most of it yourself in your browser's developer tools in about thirty seconds. Where something is genuinely undecided it is named below rather than filled in with something plausible.

1. What you are agreeing to

Using this site means accepting what is below. It is short on purpose. There is no account to create, no subscription, nothing to pay for and nothing to cancel — so most of what a long agreement usually covers simply does not arise here.

2. What the service is

A set of free tools that make a choice at random: a spinning wheel over a list, a team splitter, an order shuffler, dice, coins and numbers. They run in your browser. The lists you save stay on your own device, which is described in full on the privacy page, and the fairness of the draws is measured and published on the fairness page.

3. What it is not

It is not a way to improve anyone's chances at anything. No random generator can do that, here or anywhere. The tools make an even-handed choice among the entries you give them, and that is the entire claim.
It is not a place to keep anything you cannot lose. Saved lists live in your browser and nowhere else. Clearing your browsing data removes them, a browser short of space can discard them on its own, and there is no copy to restore from — deliberately, because a copy would need a server.
It is not advice of any kind — not legal, financial, medical or professional. It picks a name out of a list.
It is not a service with an uptime promise. It may be unavailable, changed or withdrawn at any time.
It is not something to base a serious decision on. A result is one arbitrary choice made on your own device. It is not a basis for anything carrying legal, financial, medical, employment or safety consequences, and it is not an official or verifiable outcome.

4. Provided as is

The site is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. That includes not warranting that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose you have in mind.

★ Two things are worth saying alongside that, because a blanket disclaimer can read as an excuse for carelessness. The randomness is measured rather than asserted, and the measurements are published with their method on the fairness page. And where the site knows it cannot do something — a share link too long to encode, a request for more unique numbers than a range contains — it says so rather than quietly doing something close.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the operator of this site is not liable for any loss arising from your use of it — including lost saved lists, or a decision you made because of a result the site produced.

Nothing in this section limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

6. Acceptable use

Please do not:

use the site to break the law, or to do something to another person that they have not agreed to;
try to interfere with it, or with anyone else's use of it;
present its results as something they are not — an official draw, a verified outcome, or evidence of anything beyond what actually happened on the page.

⚠️ On that last point specifically: the tools are honest about how they work, and a result is only as trustworthy as the person reporting it. If a draw needs to convince other people, do it in front of them.

A list that arrives in a share link was written by whoever sent it to you. This site does not check it, moderate it, or keep a copy of it — it only displays what the link contains. Treat an unfamiliar link here the way you would treat any other.

And nothing about a draw is stored anywhere: no server sees it and no record is kept, so a result cannot be checked again afterwards by anyone — including whoever runs the site.

7. Advertising and third-party links

The site is intended to be supported by advertising. No advertising code is loaded at the time of writing, and that is asserted against the published files on every build. If and when it is switched on, adverts come from third parties whose content is theirs rather than ours, and linking to or displaying something is not an endorsement of it.

8. The site's own content

The design, the text and the code are the operator's. Anything you type is yours — which is easy to promise here, because it never reaches us in the first place.

9. Governing law and disputes

Which country's law governs these terms is not settled, and this section names that rather than guessing. It follows from where the site is operated from and registered — and while the site does now have a domain of its own, a registration is not an operating address, and it does not answer the question. Any answer written here today would still be a plausible-looking invention rather than a decision.

So this waits on a decision rather than on a domain: it is the operator's to take, and it will be filled in when it is taken. Until then, nothing here attempts to limit whatever rights you have under the law that does apply to you.

10. Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The date at the top of this page is when this version was published, and material changes are recorded on the changelog.

11. Getting in touch

There is no contact address yet, and rather than leave you to find that out: an address that quietly bounces would be worse than an honest gap, so one goes up here when there is a mailbox behind it that has been tested. The about page explains who runs it in the meantime.
